There is no such thing as: the best place for a bike. There is also no such thing as the best place to visit. When I hear that someone says that, I only have one thought: he did not visit enough places yet. < ><\/em>However, we decided to prepare a list of places that we have already visited and which we can recommend. This is a limited list of our recommendations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list is sorted (and filtered out of many visited but not matching TOP places), but it is very subjective, our pleases us<\/em>. I hope it will evolve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, Yosemite in the US impresses very much. At least until you realize that 2 hours from home you have such Yosemite at every turn... ad nauseam. It is disgustingly expensive in Norway, logistics are hard and probably most of the time it is pouring rain that covers every view. However, but in these few moments of sunny weather, on perfect, empty asphalt road you will see landscapes, considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world and most importantly: still undamaged by man. Very unobvious place and a bit extravagant, definitely better for Gravel<\/em> than the road, but still beautiful... if of course we hit those special days when it is not raining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fairytale views, a small number of tourists, murderous driveways, greenery, cows, mounds, unique views, all this means that Azores are not forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Albania was the biggest surprise for us in history. We were getting ready for dirt, poverty, shit and fear, and it turned out that in the off season and outside the main tourist points it is exactly the opposite. Super nice people, great roads (both few asphalt and hidden off-road), cars bypassing us with a supply of many meters and views that they cut off the pumpkin<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Albania is excellent, very much... but I don't know how long it will last. READ<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bormio - legendary place - no need to introduce. Several roads falling into the category \"the most famous cycling routes in the world\" available from one place are an unusual situation. In my opinion, the most obligatory place for a road cyclist who wants to fight in the mountains. Stelvio, Gavia, Mortirolo, shopping in Livigno, the opportunity to meet pros and the entire infrastructure prepared for cyclists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

...and unfortunately also a Mecca of motorcyclists, which makes it worth putting ear plugs in the season. READ<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Julian Alps are primarily a Mecca for climbers, and unfortunately the more advanced ones. There may not be much asphalt roads, but for a few days trip it is just right. Soaring, impressive peaks intersected with perfect asphalt, this is exactly what we like. READ<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Winter classes for all of Europe. You don't know where to go when it's dark, cold and stinks; go to Gran Canaria. Certain weather, driveways, both large and small, good asphalt, lots of roads and infrastructure typically prepared for cyclists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

North and south are two completely different worlds, so both classic coffee-rider and a small explorer will find something for themselves. READ<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Teide volcano, climbing at ~ 2000m above sea level, available in several very different versions, Anaga Park, Masca; to this we add the fact that in winter it is a typical cycling island and we have another certainty that will not disappoint us. Why is it lower than Gran Canaria? Because there are less roads. If I had to choose a destination for a week trip, it would be Tenerife; for longer, Gran Canaria. In Montenegro, drivers drive as if they would like to kill us, the coast in the season begins to resemble Croatia, and garbage around cities can be collected by kilograms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only if you are out of season and you go to Durmitor, to Kotor, to Skadar Lake and to the Albanian mountains, you will experience aesthetic shock. And all this is easily accessible from Podgorica. READ<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Evidence. A place that most cyclists will visit sooner or later. Close, good, usually warm, a lot of roads. From long ramps like Bondone or Baldo, to a disgusting side like Veleno, to gravel in the style of Tremalzo; something for everyone, from the road to MTB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suspect that this is the most popular destination for cyclists in the world. Majorca is an island of road cyclists and never lets you forget it. The number of cyclists beats Warsaw Gassy, and Cap de Formentor is one of the nicer places we've been to. You can rent a bike everywhere here, drink coffee in every town, and if you catch a slipper, someone will throw you an inner tube within a few minutes. This has its pros, but it also has its cons ; for us, however, it is too big mainstream<\/em>. READ<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On the one hand, beautiful and exotic, on the other a bit scary. The Atlas Mountains and the surrounding area is a beautiful thing, while cities like Marrakech or Agadir immediately generate an escape reflex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A climate that needs to be liked and I don't know much about girls who feel comfortable there. For me the views make up for the inconvenience, but it's definitely not for everyone. READ<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jesen\u00edky are probably our favorite mountains in the category of those closest to us. High, with nice views, good asphalt and Czech climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisbon is not the best place in the world for bicycles, but the further south you go, the better. Hills get steeper, people disappear, homeless dogs appear on the side of the road, all in a specific Portuguese climate, up to the Algarve, where it all culminates.
