Tatry Tour 2014<\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

The best race of the year. In fact, it's 3\/4 of the best race of the year. Last year's<\/a> I remember, as definitely the best racing adventure of the season. Beautiful route, well secured, long, a lot of cyclists, cool surface and a bit of everything: downhill, driveways, cities, villages, Gypsy children on the route. The plan for this year was simple: break with 6 hours. Taking into account the blue sky announcing the beautiful weather, professionals at the start, who should pull the peloton - it seemed quite real.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bad bad starts<\/h2>\n

Taught by experience from last year, we started calmly, prepared for an hour or two gossip in the peloton, keeping the speed relatively high but equal. After a few minutes of driving it was already known that it is somehow different, worse. We barely finished discussing the first gossip when it turned out that the first group is several dozen meters ahead. It was already swept away. The race did not resemble last year. The peloton split into smaller groups and it was supposed to stay for the next 180km.<\/p>\n

Worse the bad ends<\/h2>\n

It was not easy - the sun warmed, the children cheered, the cyclists rode. Thanks to the kindness of my friend from Warsaw, I managed to get complementary water bottles for my car while driving. An amazing luxury when people pass by who have to stop at the buffets. To confirm the rule that everything better abroad, after the entry to Poland, it started to rain. Cold, slippery and interesting. When I started to drive quite well, and the soaking reached the level at which the further rain does not bother me anymore, I felt a slip in the front wheel in the driveway to Bukovina. It's a bit strange. A moment later, standing on the side of the road with a pierced tubular, I already knew what bangla was about. I waved a few passing friends, asked a couple of cars if I would not like to drop me off to Slovakia. The cars are over, friends have gone, there's nothing left to do but try to call people who have been in Zakopane to pick me up. A beautiful plan, because I thought I could get a pizza or some other pool for consolation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A bit of luck in disguise<\/h2>\n

When I reach for the phone, I remember how clever I am! This year, I took a gopro with me on the telephone seat! Instead of calling for help, I can take pictures. You must have priorities. In the end, the guys from Body iCoach who run after their player stop at me. By stopping at my side, they must run even more - they catch up with him 5km before the finishing line. I have nothing left but to go home the day before I planned. In the end, I managed to cross the 150km and 1800m vertically and I was a bit tired.<\/p>\n
