As with cars, there is no such thing as "the best lamp" in the case of lamps. It can be the most universal or best suited to your needs. <\/p>\n

If someone asks me what kind of lamp I recommend, I almost always answer that Convoy S2 modified by someone who knows about it. Reasonably priced, immortal, more power than needed for the road, with replaceable batteries.<\/p>\n

I must admit that the face was quite skeptical when I received an email from Ugoe with the offer to check their lights. Well, what can one say about a lamp: it shines? Shines. The facial expression changed radically when I reached the end of the catalog and found a beautifully sounding name: NBR31-221 and values \u200b\u200b- front: 6000 lumens based on 6 CREE XM-L2 diodes, back 150lm on 3 CREE XP-G diodes. Abstraction, it must be a classic Chinese lie ... bending the truth. I check the price - 1349 PLN. YES, A THOUSAND THOUSAND HUNDRED FIVE NUNS<\/strong>. The set includes a pilot pad and a helmet holder. I write back right away that I want it!<\/p>\n

The first point when I see something that I have not heard before: aliexpress. Especially that the producer is Tobest. Why am I writing about it? Because its address is: Building A2, COSCO Guomao Science & technology Garden, Yang Chong Road 37, SongGang Bao'An district, Shenzhen<\/strong>. Most things from Shenzen can be bought straight from the east.<\/p>\n

For the unknowing I also asked for a standard 500-lumen lamp: Ugoe NB11-10 (excellent model naming). Simple results to predict, let's look at the Polish catalog:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I disregard what they differ from, and why one is almost twice as expensive as the other, even though it does not make sense on paper. To be honest, I would like to point out that the following prices are for the purchase of a minimum of 50 pieces, but for those who are looking for a long enough obstacle do not exist.<\/p>\n

For the above prices, with a little bad luck, we would probably have a customs tax. For obvious reasons, however, I will add that it is better to order equipment from distributors, because .... ekhm ... warranty, support of the Polish industry, shipping time, service and stuff ;-)<\/p>\n

Rushing hands went right away to see how much cheaper to buy the second, monstrous set: Ugoe NBR31. Yes, I manage to find a set based on 9 (instead of 6) of the same diodes, apparently generating 3x more light for $ 85, but let's be serious. Between the descriptions of the girlfriends and the actual products, the difference is like between actresses in the cinema, and Live<\/em>... both from the outside and inside. Unfortunately, the original is only available in the official store on aliexpress with a beautifully sounding name: sztobest with an indication that about $ 100. To make sure I wrote to Mr. Ulises Zheng asking for details and 5 minutes later I had the answer: when they order 10 sets, the price is 110 $.<\/p>\n

Ugoe NBR11: Light like a lamp - shines<\/h1>\n

In the case of a cheaper lamp, apart from the price there is nothing to cling to. Orderly, charged by USB, these 500 lumens are probably true. This, in my opinion, is a completely minimal value, so that you can comfortably ride on suburban roads in the dark at night. It's hard to write something more about the lamp, but in my opinion it could calmly wear the logo of one of the big companies like Bontrager or Cateye. It is not much weaker than the Mactronic Bike Pro Noise 500, which prices start at PLN 250 (nominally the same number of lumens). The individual question is whether someone prefers charging directly from the outlet, or have replaceable 18650 batteries - each solution has positive and negative pluses (although the integrated battery has more negative in my opinion). Just a good lamp, with a decent fixing.<\/p>\n

Ugoe NBR31: A lamp like a heater<\/h1>\n

Let's get to the clue of this entry: a killing kit for the Jedi. The lightsaber is a toy. Authentically - you have to be careful not to hurt yourself. Because yes: the back lamp has no light control - it has 3 LEDs that glow in different configurations and are also probably in continuous mode, but I did not find it. It looks like if you look at the light even by accident, you see black burnished dots in the next 15 minutes.<\/p>\n

Outside, unfortunately, it's the same. In my opinion, this lamp can do more harm than good at night. Unless you are riding in the desert or you are sailing on the sea ... or you are riding during the day. Yes, it took me some time to find the optimal application, but on very empty roads, during the day, it works perfectly. Provided, of course, that you are traveling alone. On the other hand, there is the certainty that when traveling with someone, we will always be sitting on the wheel, because no-one would want to follow us. Loaded by USB with some bajerami, that when you stop moving it goes out after a few minutes and then it fires.<\/p>\n

The front is an even bigger harder and I will tell you that firing it in the apartment ends almost always bad. This lamp makes the day from the night. A ray of light reflected from the white wall burns out your eyes. The lamp warms up so fast that the first test that I decide to do is attempt to set fire to the handkerchief - unfortunately, the beam of light is probably not too big. However, it remains nice to be aware that if we start to freeze somewhere in the middle of nowhere, or lose touch in our fingers, we have a heater with two hours, which will restore our circulation in a few seconds (and then burn). When trying to set things on fire, the lamp hangs only once (the battery must be unplugged) - a good result. In order to reach a temperature where I can not keep it in my hands, I need about 3 minutes to shine with full power.<\/p>\n

The battery, of course, is external. For me it is disqualifying the device, but there is no other way. The whole current needs to be located somewhere - it makes the length of the cables in my bike grow by an eye of 5 times. The 8800mah battery with a bit of mathematics gives you about 85 watt hours, which is as much as half an hour of efficient-recreational cycling. This translates into some 2-2,5 hours of lightning with maximum power and from 10 to minimal (that is, from sunset to sunrise at the end of October). We charge it through an external power supply.<\/p>\n

The very performance of all elements does not raise any objections. We are dealing rather with a decent Asian restaurant than with a "Vietnamese" from home. The enclosures are fitted, the cables are decent, nothing gets stuck, some solutions are associated with other relatively decent products, such as SolarStorm lamps. It's hard to write something about durability after ~ 3 weeks of use, but it seems to me that the equipment will live a little, even if we do not care too much about it.<\/p>\n

The available modes are: super strong, very strong, strong and flashing. Why would someone blink - I do not know. The most likely application is probably when we fly out of the band into the Ocean on the Canarian bend and the current will take us to a nearby, uninhabited island. We will be able to blink at planes and space stations asking for help. The big disadvantage for me is that the light always starts in the strongest mode, not in the last used one. <\/p>\n

As it is not difficult to guess, when we overcome the resistance against adding 630 grams (which the dropping in case of a good highway is often counted in disgusting amounts) the amount of light that Ugoe gives us is enough to highlight both the path ahead and 3 villages that we will pass soon. By the way, we will also kill 4 drivers coming from the opposite direction. I will say straight: on the road, from my point of view, neither the front nor the back is working. Even racing in fatbikes at night<\/a> around 1000lm are fully sufficient. <\/p>\n

As Scriber said: it is not that this lamp is good or not good. It is enough that it is well done, and the rest is a matter of preference. This one is specific. I can not quite imagine situations in which I would have to use at least 50% of her maximum power, but there are certainly people who will appreciate it. If you are looking for the most powerful lamp in the "human price", you can easily pack in it. Same with the rest as in other products of this company. They are neither better nor worse than those branded with the largest brands in the local store. I stay with Convoy, which is quite sufficient both on the road and on cross-country roads.<\/p>\n
