I was asking earlier, how do you know if you are a cyclist? One sure sign is when I bring a bike on almost all vacations. If a vacation does not include some cycling, is it a vacation? If you asks that, you are a cyclist. Hopefully this has been a long-term condition and all other holidayeers. Accept this with a shrug, yeah, a damn Velominatus.

Cycling Summary of the Year 2014
[dropcap] K [/ dropcap] the end of the year is a specific period - the time of summaries. There is no point in mentioning all the races and trips I have driven this year or interesting people I met. There was a lot of it. Over 6,000 clicked photos (counting only bicycle trips) and dozens of gigabytes of movies suggest that this post could be indecently long. However, I browse photo collections with my friends, who Facebook prepared special presentations for. Looking at the next in a row, I noticed an interesting thing: for most people, at least half of the photos were taken by me, or I'm in these photos. It may be a matter of the fact that we all are happy to take pics on bicycles or running and we are even more willing to share them, but there is another reason.
When I look at the past year and record the trainings, I can say that I spent the New Year this year pedaling in the snow, the Three Kings pedaling in the mountains and so on, going on .... Christmas Eve, almost all on a bicycle in the Tatra Mountains, Christmas - getting wet in Zakopane. Virtually all days off were used for pedaling or possibly running (like November 11.). I do not think that I would go somewhere and take a bicycle with me. Interesting and slightly frightening, but on the other hand I did what I like. Thanks to the work that I can do theoretically from anywhere, many of the routes marked on the map have traveled many times - I like places that I know.
Some life records have dropped out. It's true that once again I won nothing, but I managed to significantly bring this goal closer to the top 10 in several smaller and larger races. A couple of trips over 250km, both lonely and in a group. Over 630km at once, as an adventure that you can probably tell for the rest of your life. The first published article in the cycling magazine. Dozens of new friends. The first sensible times in the race, the first run of the half-marathon, the first street run away (half-marathon - Krakow).
When I meet with friends I have not seen for a long time and hear the question "Maciek, what's up with you, what was interesting lately?" And I fall into a long pause, trying to decide which weeks were the most interesting, I know that this was not the lost time . Similarly, when I'm presented to other people as "This is Maciek, this guy from the bike that last ...". I am glad that someone talks about what I do to strangers to me. It's hard to imagine a better hobby. I hope you can see it well in the movie summary.
