In Gassy and Czosnów, I have not been a road for more than half a year (!!!), so I have already forgotten how it is. It's time to turn Zwift into LIFE. Friends said it was worth it, so I decided to test it spontaneously (because bloggers are testing everything).

Many groups are created to create the LIFE application, both small and local ones as well as corporations. The most popular theory is to create Life during a 6-day hackathon by one person, with the pseudonym God, in the form of a start-up. This explains the number of errors and failures. Unfortunately, there is no information about possible updates and corrections, however, the partially open code allows you to use vulnerabilities that facilitate service. The app is turned on by default all the time as a process in the background, all you have to do is log out of Zwift and move the bike behind the window.

 

I'm going out. It quickly turns out that the thermostat is broken. Permanent 6-7 degrees is some mistake. It is true that I do not get tired after that, but how to live? How to start driving? I'm going back for three additional layers. Now it's too warm. Apparently the thermostat is causing problems for everyone - a good chance that the temperature will change for a moment, in a random way. There are also leaks from the ceiling, only this time, however, looking up and loud curses will not help ... at least not immediately.

I sit on a bicycle, pull out the phone and start playing with it - my legs are already pedaling as part of the warm-up. The bushes stop me. It turns out that cycling in Życiu is fully interactive. Not only do I have to choose a road at every intersection, I can do it at any time. I can even go where there are no intersections! Not only that - I have to squirm, otherwise training will not be done. The option is completely useless and distracting, but interesting. More probably for people who like to play in exploration instead of expi and complete KOMs. In the bushes I land a few more times. The designers exaggerated a little with the control and not only that one should control the trajectory of the vehicle (not only with the help of the steering wheel, but also the body balance), then one should also remember about the brakes (two controlled by separate levers) and gears. All this combined with a complicated driving model, depending to a large extent on the surface on which we find ourselves, causes a lot of problems. What is this for? They draw attention away from what really counts in training. There was indeed a tutorial in which we get an additional two wheels and a multiplayer version with a stick controlled by the other player, but it is known that the tutorials are for beaters.

As for the ride itself, the implementation of cooling technology depending on the speed achieved is as interesting as the unfinished. The blowing can appear at completely inappropriate times. For 90% of the time it blows just as it should - that is straight in the face, but there are side or rear blows. The generator itself is invisible. It is amazing how a windmill producing so much air rushed towards me was hidden. The more it blows, the slower the surrounding landscape moves - it is probably the fault of limited computing power: instead of going to the processors, the current is going to do heavy physical work. A bit like the Turbo Muin trainer.

The graphics are amazing. A huge amount of detail and smooth operation make an impression when you take into account the vastness of the world and its openness. We can go to any place in principle (after obtaining the appropriate permissions). Unfortunately, this reflects on diversity. With such a graphical potential, what surrounds us seems simply poor. It is gray, gloomy, buildings are repeating, infrastructure and buildings are inconsistent. The colors are poor, but in the coming months it is supposed to improve a bit. This is supposedly the fault of a poor location - the Polish version (and especially the Mazovian version) is cut off from many goodies available elsewhere. Mazovia version, which I have is designed for sprinters - stripped of unnecessary additions, allows you to focus on watching the screen displaying watts and heart rate.

 

There are, of course, paid extras - mission packs. For a small fee, we can change the surrounding views to a much more interesting one, and a more wavy route. In addition, permanently switched climate to a higher or lower temperature. Unfortunately, in most cases these extensions are in the trial version and after their expiration you should either extend the subscription by paying the next payment or go back to the original location (apparently there is a possibility to circumvent this problem by entering login: Szymon). Interestingly, the longer we go with such an addition, the more our avatar changes color. So if there is nothing to look at, let's focus on the sports context.

As for the settings, it is like with Zwift'cie. You are standing in a given place at the given time and you are moving. Drag works similarly - achieving high speeds in a group is much easier than being alone - but I do not know exactly why the airflow decreases. However, the problem is sprint and escape from the middle of the peloton. Taught by experience, I go in the middle of the group, wait for the right moment and accelerate. The sea of ​​cyclists, for unknown reasons, does not move apart - the effect of Moses does not work. Collision detection works great: during the soil, none of the objects penetrated with another. I mean, sometimes it penetrated - but it has been faithfully reproduced by creating a special hole in the pervaded object. You can see that the programmers mastered the Ragdoll technique to perfection (Wikipedia: Ragdoll physics - computer technique based on a realistic simulation of falling bodies). At the fall, the textures of cyclists also change. Black and red elements appear, which fade with time - this is probably some form of bad luck or bug. Cool, because you can easily explain the failure.
I do not know how to put weight into the system, but some certainly do it wrong. They possibly use some codes that I have not discovered yet. You can not drive so fast and for so long. They must cheat !! 111

The most important advantage of riding in a group when we compare it with ZWIFT is the fact that when we break someone, we do not have to listen to it anymore. At Zwiftt, he can shoot us messages, even when we leave him a kilometer behind. However, limited communication has some weaknesses. Sending a text message to a person in LIFE is pointless - and so it will be read with a delay. Teamspeak works quite well, but its range is definitely too weak. After crossing 30km / h there is a noise, through which it is difficult to understand anything. Gesture communication was solved in an interesting way. Fast motion with one finger in the air can express more than a thousand words. In addition, the touch module allows you to move your riders away from you (or even exclude them from further driving, and with luck / unlucky log out of LIFE permanently). 

When it comes to cheating, there are many ways. Plugins are the most popular, which we can download for an additional fee from the APTEKA store (or the better ones from the Russian stores with WARSZES). Speed ​​boosters are available to reduce weight, reduce fatigue - basically all. Some of them, usually the most effective ones, are unfortunately prohibited in LIFE because of possible side effects. If we can download them as pirated versions, we certainly do not lose the guarantee. After entering the code: 112, we can report the defect and count on the fact that the service manages to do something about it. Unfortunately, the support fails on the entire line - if we do not have a premium support package, our application will be terminated in a random period from one to two years. In Zwitf'cie it works much better ... and you can always delete it and reinstall it, or create a second account. In life, we can set up a second account only after obtaining approval from a team of analysts working on the SNAJ protocol, but there is nothing to dream about reinstalling ... apparently, because I heard that in the Hindu version it is possible.

The second type of extensions is the modification of graphics. Using pirated solutions, we are able to change the color of the landscape, the appearance of all elements or even private perception of the laws of physics. These additives are difficult to access and very often contain viruses that are difficult to get rid of afterwards.

The last addition is the hardware itself, the main reason for whoever installs LIFE. Despite the relatively small impact on performance, we can freely change the look of both the bike and our avatar. The problem is, however, the exaggerated amount of nuzzles needed to change anything. Depending on the amount of experience, chosen profession and skills that we got when creating the hero, the gold farm can take us from several weeks to several years. You need to work on the most epic devices, on low-level (lowest) instances .... slightly counting from 2-3 years without issuing. Somebody had a fantasy.

An interesting, but completely unnecessary addition is the time of day. In Zwifcie, when during one ride I include at least two sunsets, which diversifies some views. IN LIFE it has been solved completely without sense. It is clear (and therefore the most pleasant) when no one needs it. Some versions have been additionally broken and it happens to go for half a year non-stop without sunset (luckily, the copies hit the place where, anyway, a broken thermostat does not allow for a comfortable ride).

Returning, however, to the very ride ... We are at the 30th kilometer. Instead of boring views and continuous intervals caused by the need to select a route at each intersection, a field appears. The field and nothing more - it is clearly visible that the designers overtook the "Mazovas edition" version and pasted the road into the empty field from time to time adding a slight curve. I am shouting to Sylwia to give her drink and reduce the airflow - nothing happens. Nearby avatars look at me like a dumbster.

End of training, 122TSS, you can go to the bathtub. I stop pedaling, wait for the bike to stop, go down. I'm somewhere behind Nowy Dwór. WTF. Buddies said there was no button that was responsible for turning back at 40km / h, so I did it. All roads were supposed to lead to the start. I take off the rear wheel, turn the bike, put on a wheel - I pedal again, the other way. On the way, players of other applications try to log out from my LIFE a couple of times. Such interdisciplinarity does not make sense - fighting players in cars and buses is like fighting on Counter Strike pad against mouse and keyboard.

In any case, until I am collecting enough supplements and extensions, I return to Zwift.
